Estimates indicate that $60 million was raised!

Idol Gives Back Brings Awareness and Support to Save the Children's U.S. Programs

in support of Idol Gives BackSave the Children was proud to be a part of this year's Idol Gives Back event on April 9th, when the needs of children in the U.S. and around the world were highlighted and people were asked to open up their hearts and wallets to help.

Estimates indicate that $60 million was raised, and Save the Children’s portion will benefit U.S. Programs.

Prominent celebrities including American Idol judges Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul, Super Bowl winning quarterbacks (and brothers) Peyton and Eli Manning and teen sensation Miley Cyrus all visited Save the Children programs in different parts of the United States and urged viewers to support the agency's work.

Thanks to all of you who supported this historic philanthropic event!
