Neptune Memorial Reef
A lion sculpture stands guard at the Neptune Memorial Reef, a cemetery that opened last fall,
45 feet below the waters off the coast of Florida, 3 1/4 miles off the coast of Key Biscayne.
The concrete, bronze and steel reef is designed to last forever and withstand hurricanes.
Any certified diver can reach the cemetery.
Individual memorials are created by blending cremated human remains with concrete.
The cost of burial in the reef ranges from $995 to $6,495.

Hi! What a cool idea! I could really get into that. Now! So I don't get the cement mix wrong, is that 3 parts human, 2 parts beach sand and 1 part dry cement?
Hi! Me again. I would commit myself to the one mix, but I like to spread myself around.
Wow, here's where we are different. I love the water and this looks like a cool place to visit but yet I have a phobia about drowning. After many a swimming lesson I still can't even float comfortably. The idea of being underwater for eternity....let's put it this way, I panic when water goes up my nose in the shower!
